Web site re-design
Welcome to the CWB's re-designed Web site.
At first glance, you will notice a few obvious changes - most notable is the wider site and the larger fonts. Farmer have been telling us that our Web site has been looking rather small on their new, larger computer monitors. A wider site and larger font take advantage of these new larger screens.
But, through out all the changes, one thing we didn't touch was the actual organizational structure of the site. The current architecture of the site works well, and keeping it the same has the added bonus of making it very easy for visitors familiar with our old site to adjust quickly to the new design.
For example - if you are used to finding the Fixed Price Contract schedules by clicking on the Farmers tab, then clicking on the Producer payment options link and then clicking on the Fixed price contract link, you can keep on doing that.
But, we've added two new navigation features to make it much faster and easier for visitors to find the page they are looking for.
- Drop-down menus: These new drop-down menus logically organize the content of each section, allowing visitors to jump directly to almost any page within the section.
- Expandable site map: A new site map is available at the bottom of most pages of the Web site. This new site map provides users with a complete view of all the main sections and subsections of our Web site.
