Makes: 18 buns
Whole wheat flour 1 cup
All-purpose flour ½ cup
Rolled oats ½ cup
Granulated sugar 2 tbsp
Baking powder2 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Melted butter 2 tbsp
Raisins (optional) 1/3 cup
Water 3/4 cup
1. Sift together the flours, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. Add melted butter, raisins and water. Add more water if needed to make sticky dough.
3. With floured hands, pat into greased pie plate.
4. Bake at 400 ° F for 20-25 minutes, or until browned.
5. Cut into wedges.
