Variety survey
Each year, the CWB surveys western Canadian farmers to gather information about the varieties of wheat, durum, malting barley, feed barley and hull-less barley that they are growing. Producers are eligible to win a WeatherBug® weather station, seed vouchers and other prizes just by submitting a completed 2009-10 variety survey form.
Results can help you make seeding choices, help the CWB develop marketing plans, and provide guidance to plant breeders and seed growers. The final results gain greater accuracy as more people enter. The variety survey marks its 12th anniversary in 2009-10.
