2010-11 Winter Wheat Advance Payments Program (APP) (Pre-harvest)
The Advance Payments Program (APP) is an Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) program designed to improve cash flow to farmers. The CWB administers the APP for winter wheat grown in Western Canada.
The Winter Wheat pre-harvest program is in response to farmers’ cash flow needs in the fall and precludes the requirement to wait until spring for the 2010-11 production period to begin. The deadline to receive a 2010-11 winter wheat pre-harvest advance is January 31, 2010.
