2010-11 APP Pre-harvest program
The Advance Payments Program (APP) is an Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) program designed to improve farmers' cash flow.
The CWB administers the APP to farmers in Western Canada for wheat, durum and barley.
The deadline to receive a 2010-11 pre-harvest advance is July 31, 2010.
2010-11 Continuing Priority Agreement
In effect from April 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011
The Continuing Priority Agreement allows the lender to pre-approve an amount up to $400,000 on the Priority Agreement to cover all CWB cash advances issued in the 2010-11 production period. Complete this form ONLY if you are pre-approving an amount greater than the eligible amount shown on the advance application.
If pre-approval is not granted, the regular Priority Agreement form will be available on April 1, 2010.
Instructions for the bank/lender:
- Enter the applicant's CWB Identification number and name;
- Enter the bank, lending institution or secured party name,
- Indicate if you have a lien or security on the applicant's grain. If Yes, show below if you want the advance cash ticket to be issued jointly,
- Indicate if you have taken an assignment of the applicant's Crop Insurance payment(s). If Yes, show below if you want the advance cash ticket to be issued jointly,
- Indicate the maximum amount the applicant can receive without revisiting the lender.
- Enter the telephone and fax numbers, the lender's address, and date and sign the form.
- Have the applicant sign the form.
- Photocopy the form for your records and give the applicant a copy.
