e-Services

System requirements

E-Services is now accessible using Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome and Safari browsers.

E-Services was fully tested with Internet Explorer:

  • IE 5.5 or later
  • 128-bit encryption
  • Windows 2000, XP, and Vista, and Windows 7
  • Cookies and javascript enabled

FireFox, Chrome, and Safari browser users

We have begun testing e-Services with FireFox, Safari and Chrome and have noticed only small display and functionality issues to date.

Until testing is complete, using these other browsers may cause unexpected results and may interfere with performing transactions in CWB eServices.

We will continue to test, but if you notice any issues while using e-Services, please let us know by calling 1-800-275-4292.

Compatibility issues

Internet Explorer 8 and 9 users

Compatibility view required:
If you experience display issues using IE 8 with e-Services, please turn on "Compatibility View" (found under the 'Tools' menu). 'Compatibility View' allows content designed for older web browsers (over 90 per cent of e-Services users) to still work well in Internet Explorer 8.

FireFox 3.x and 4.x

Printable version issue:
Display of some "printable versions" of pages is shifted to the far right of the Web browser page.

Delivery contract sign-up issue:
"preferred delivery point" list does not populate. Investigation of solution underway

Safari 5.x

No issues recorded.

Chrome 10.x

No issues recorded.

High speed Internet access

Although the CWB has kept e-Services relatively free of large file sizes, use of e-Services through a high-speed Internet connection is recommended.

Dial-up users may experience delays during page loading and processing.
